I saw a lot of families have their children playing with the devices in the house, not hang out or doing any outdoor activities other than using the technology. I found that that’s not the good way to educate their children. When children focus too much on screen, they become lazy to do exercises, start to neglect to go outside or anywhere except their home just to play or watching video on screen.
in my opinion, children lack of exercise will have their physical stamina on low level, they will become very weak, also lack of knowledge about outside, fresh air, making friends, etc… This issue may cause the children to become unsocial to other people, locking themselves into their own “space” that keep them distance from anything else.
I have seen a lot of parent’s concern toward this problem. there is a video talk about technology that affect children from going outside and doing outdoor activities in the link below:
From the video, it tell us about what media& technology can affect our children in modern days. one thing that really get my attention is that she speaker talked about the impacts that children could have toward their development. “One is if your child playing on video games, watching TV, not outside on a playground and are not engaging with their friends, then they are not playing and they should be“; ” Two is that the impact that these toys have on your child can be significant because it’s a lot of input “. I’m totally agree with the speaker. By making friends, children will learn to be socialize with other people, also spend time playing outside also helps the children to improve their physical condition, help them doing some exercises and encourage them to play in the park so they could improve their imaginations and be creative on what they are doing.
I know i’m still young, but i understand, emphasize and share my concern to other parents as well and i hope after you read my blog it can help you be more careful raising children and prevent any disadvantage may happen to the children for their better future.
